Famous Beginnings: Rapper and actor, Daniel “Hush” Carlisle was born and raised in the city of Detroit. He is continually looking for ways to help and raise awareness for hometown. In 2010, he was a part of the show “A Dog’s Life,” which followed stray dogs around Detroit. Even after the series ended, Hush felt so passionate about helping stray dogs that he met with Monica Martino and together they co-founded this website. Monica is an Emmy-nominated producer. She created the “A Dog’s Life” series and together with Hush felt that they had to help the dogs on the streets in Detroit.
